Ok_Bandicoot1865 points to the max label beside the quality criterion in the sketchbook. Read that qualifier as part of the requirement. The number alone is not enough to tell you whether you should go above it or remain below it.

Read each condition on its own

A commission may combine quality with style or comfort requirements. Satisfying one bar does not prove that the whole dress meets the brief. In another Prudence thread, players discuss balancing workwear, uncomfortable materials and deliberately low quality.

Those replies include personal fabric choices and ways to lower workmanship. They do not establish a single recipe or an exact number of poor stitches needed. Use the feedback in your own game instead of treating an example dress as a guaranteed solution.

Before reworking the dress

1. Return to the current request and copy the wording of the failing criterion.
2. Record whether it is a maximum, minimum, avoided attribute or another condition.
3. Compare the finished value with the requirement in the correct direction.
4. Change one relevant part of the dress, then check the feedback again before altering everything else.

Preserve your options

A warning that the customer may be unhappy is not, by itself, evidence of a corrupted save. First check the requirement wording. If the controls allow revision, use that path before considering a new game.

The commission worksheet has space for the original brief and the observed result. For example, write “quality: maximum shown in this request” beside the actual value from your game.
